Latest Processing Facility Attack Reveals 'Zero Protected Areas in the Russian Distant Backlines'
Ukraine's UAVs have targeted the Russian oil facility in Ufa, located around 1,400 km from Ukraine, triggering explosions and a fire, per a source in Ukraine's Security Service.

Ukrainian President Urges US President to Facilitate Truce in the Conflict
Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the US President to mediate a ceasefire in Ukraine in a call on the weekend.
"Provided that a conflict can be halted in a single area, then certainly other wars can be stopped as well, encompassing the Russian aggression," he said, commending the US President's "outstanding" Middle East ceasefire plan and requesting the American leader to pressure the Moscow into talks.

Moscow's assaults on Ukraine killed at least several civilians on the weekend and disrupted electricity to parts of the southern Odesa oblast, per local sources.
Two civilians died inside a religious building in the town when it was struck, per regional officials.
In the Russian adjacent territory of Belgorod, a vehicle operator was lost his life by a Ukrainian strike, per municipal sources.
Energy Repair Efforts in Kyiv
Efforts proceeded on Saturday to recover electricity in the Ukrainian capital, after Russian attacks.
Energy had been returned to in excess of 800,000 citizens by Saturday and the biggest power firm stated the primary efforts to repair the grid was concluded though certain disruptions remained.
Anti-Aircraft Efforts and UAV Jamming
Ukraine's air defences intercepted or jammed 54 out of 78 total Russian drones launched towards the country during the night, the air force reported on Saturday.
The Russian defence ministry said it intercepted forty-two UAVs from Ukraine over Russian territory.
Cuba Rejects Claims of Deploying Soldiers to Ukraine
Cuba on Saturday denied American claims it has provided soldiers to participate in the conflict in Ukraine, while declaring Cuban authorities "do not have accurate data about individuals" engaged "independently" or "as part of the armed units of the conflicting parties".
The government department in Havana stated 26 Cuban citizens had been sentenced to incarceration ranging from five to 14 years for mercenary involvement since the autumn of 2023 when news emerged of Cubans being dispatched to the battlefield in Ukraine.
Surrender Initiative Project Reports Information on Cuban National Enlistment
The surrender initiative, a state initiative that promotes enemy combatants to surrender, reported in spring: "Our information indicates the names and personal details of one thousand and twenty-eight Cubans who entered into agreements with the Moscow's troops in recently."
The Cuban foreign ministry said of Cubans who might be participating: "It is irrefutable that none of them has the encouragement, dedication, or approval of the government in Havana for their actions."
Relatives of individuals who left for the Russian Federation in 2023 told news outlets at the time that their family members had been deceptively recruited through promotions on online platforms.
