The family of a child who suffered life-threatening wounds after being thrown from the 10th floor of the Tate Modern have revealed their "brave warrior" has reached his goal of managing to swim, run, and jump anew.

The French child was six when he was hurled from a ledge by a youth, then 17.

The child, who was traveling with the parents in August 2019 when attacked, lived through a 100ft plunge but received permanent harm, including a bleed on the brain and broken bones.

Relatives said in an progress report on a fundraising page, they were delighted that he had been able to advance with his jumping, swimming and running before his next procedure.

"He is unable to accomplish similar to kids at his age, certainly, but we are unable to explain what he does in another manner than by saying it's jumping, swimming, and running."

After a trial at the central criminal court, the adolescent was sentenced of murder attempt and was imprisoned in two thousand twenty for at least fifteen years.
